My Dowm Time ... Stephanie Scott
published: Sunday | October 5, 2008

Scott

Stephanie Scott, the woman behind The Gleaner-sponsored Kingston Restaurant Week (KRW), knows how to stage special events, especially for the world's movers and shakers. The epitome of style, she has taken KRW from a mere idea to a much-anticipated annual event. This week, she takes the spotlight in 'My Down Time'.

What are you reading now, or have read lately?

SS: A New Earth - Eckhart Tolle.

What is your favourite CD, or one you are listening to now?

SS: Parables by Tarrus Riley

What interesting place locally or abroad have you visited last?

SS: Bull Savannah, St Elizabeth. The people there live at a surprisingly high level; their houses are well constructed with beautiful gardens and modern amenities - things that we would assume come with a degree of urbanisation. Not so, these same people go 'to the bush' every day to farm and reap. They are people with tremendous initiative and work ethic.
